WHO IS MAMA GODDESS?
Shanita Marie is my name. However in my community, I am affectionally known as Mama Goddess. I am extremely family orientated, which aids to my nurturing nature.
I am a powerful, spirit-led being who has humbly accepted the calling of healing and service for my life. I feel I embody the very essence of a goddess, and I try to carry myself as such. I am loving, loyal, caring, helpful, protective, genuine and creative. With these attributes, and plethora of others, Mama Goddess is someone you can trust and depend on.
What is Mama Goddess Crystals N More?
Mama Goddess Crystals N More L.L.C. is a legal license business that specializes in collecting hand-picked crystals, which she purposefully handcrafts into beautiful, custom-made, jewelry pieces. With her healing hands, Mama Goddess carefully and intentionally cleans and cleanses each crystal before she wraps them. She does this so the healing energies in the stones and crystals are pure and ready for use for the wearer.
Mama Goddess Crystals N More L.L.C. also offers services by way of Hoodoo tarot card reading and Reiki Healing services. Of which, she enjoys whole-heartedly.
Why did you start a business?
Before there was Mama Goddess, there was just Shanita Marie. A woman who, for the last 6 years, worked a dead end job as a paraprofessional at an elementary school that housed a group of behavioral health students. It wasn't until the spring of 2020, during the pandemic, did she begin her entrepreneurship journey. Shanita Marie started as a YouTuber and was monetized within a year. After monetization, she was still unfulfilled. Fast forward, in the spring of 2021, she wrapped her first crystal necklace. Below is the crystal wrapped necklace that is the trademark of what defines Mama Goddess.
Afterwards, she became obsessed with wrapping jewelry. She began to watch video tutorial, after video tutorial. And taught herself how to wrap. Until eventually she gained the confidence to start her own business. She launched her business in the summer of 2021 and made her first $1,300.00 in the same month she started.
Mama Goddess LOVES what she does. So much so, she quit her dead-end job, and became a full-time business owner! For her, it was more than just making crystal jewelry. She wanted to make pieces that connected the wearer's spirit. And in doing so, this is where Mama Goddess is most fulfilled!
While on her entrepreneurship journey, Mama Goddess was introduced to tarot reading by her mentor, Cynthia (Reiki Master and Soul Journey facilitator). Cynthia helped Mama Goddess awaken the gift of "sight" so she can be the humble and confident tarot reader she is today. Cynthia also certified Mama Goddess as a level 1 Reiki Healer. The goal is for Mama Goddess to become a Reiki Master as well.
